Hotel Reservations Representative Job Overview

Job Description

The primary function of this role is to manage and coordinate hotel room reservations, ensuring seamless guest experiences and efficient operational processes.

 

  • Confirm and process telephone reservations in accordance with established procedures
  • Respond promptly and tactfully to guests' booking requests and inquiries using set standards, via email or fax immediately
  • Input reservations received from online travel agents into the in-house system (property management system)

 

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience and Room Management:

  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date room availability information for optimal sales maximization
  • Manage and update guest reservation details in the property management system
  • Prepare special requests for guests' amenities (e.g., fruit plates, chocolates, wine) to the Room Service Department daily
  • Verify next day arrivals from all online travel agencies to ensure bookings are in order, following through on discrepancies
