Reservations Consultant

We are seeking a skilled Reservations Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our reservations department, you will play a vital role in promoting hotel rooms and F&B products and services.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Promoting hotel rooms and F&B products and services with high level of product and service knowledge.
  • Engaging in suggestive up-selling products and services offered by the hotel to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Recording and processing rooms and F&B reservations communications from guests, travel agents and other platforms with booking information input accurately.
  • Quoting and recommending suitable packages for potential guests.
  • Managing 'no show' reservations by investigation and recording of same.
  • Creating, updating and maintaining groups booking and billing information.
  • Maintaining knowledge of rooms and F&B special rates/ offers/ promotions.
  • Monitoring reservation levels and informing managers of current and future occupancy rates.
  • Preparing reports as requested (e.g. to travel agents, business houses etc) to track future rooms availability, revenue and occupancy.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the company.
  • Prior knowledge and understanding of reservations systems - Opera 5 Property Management system and Weeloy Table Management.
  • Highly detail-oriented individuals with exceptional organizational skills and able to handle multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Able to interact with Mandarin-speaking guests.
