Hotel Reservation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Hotel Reservation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our reservations department, you will be responsible for managing hotel room inventory, handling guest requests, and maximizing revenue through effective sales techniques.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will be responsible for:

  • Managing and controlling hotel room inventory to achieve maximum occupancy and revenue.
  • Handling guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Processing reservations and cancellations in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Utilizing computer systems to manage bookings and track customer data.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of hospitality management principles and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the candidate must possess:

  • A diploma in Hospitality Management or related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a similar capacity.
  • Ability to maintain highest standards of professionalism, ethics, grooming and attitude.
  • Knowledge of Opera Channel Management (OCM) and Central Reservation System (CRS) is an advantage.
