Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Reservations Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our reservations department, you will be responsible for promoting hotel rooms and food and beverage products and services with a high level of product and service knowledge.

You will engage in suggestive up-selling of hotel products and services to maximize revenue opportunities. This includes recording and processing room and food and beverage reservations communications from guests, travel agents, and other platforms with accurate booking information input.

Additional responsibilities include quoting and recommending suitable packages for potential guests, handling services and requests effectively and efficiently, managing no-show reservations through investigation and recording, creating, updating, and maintaining group bookings and billing information, maintaining knowledge of special rates, offers, and promotions, monitoring reservation levels, and informing managers of current and future occupancy rates.

As a Reservations Consultant, you will work collaboratively with the front office and food and beverage teams to ensure compliance and quality assurance expectations. You will also support other responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees, and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand, and the company.
  • Prior knowledge and understanding of reservations systems – Opera 5 Property Management system and Weeloy Table Management.
  • Highly detail-oriented individuals with exceptional organizational skills and able to handle multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Able to interact with Mandarin-speaking guests.
