Government Sector Business Growth Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our business development efforts in the government sector. As a Government Sector Business Growth Strategist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business development strategies to penetrate the government market.

You will identify and target potential government clients, build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and lead sales negotiations and contract discussions with government agencies.

In collaboration with internal teams, you will ensure the successful implementation and delivery of projects. You will also monitor government tenders and procurement opportunities, prepare sales proposals and bids, and stay updated on government regulations, policies, and industry trends.

Additionally, you will conduct market research and competitor analysis, prepare sales reports and forecasts, and assist in training and mentoring junior business development team members.

To succeed in this role, you will require a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, and minimum 3-5 years of experience in business development, preferably in the government sector. You must have strong knowledge of government procurement processes and regulations, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets and building government relationships.

Key qualifications include excellent networking and relationship-building skills, ability to negotiate and close deals with government agencies, strong communication and presentation skills, and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
