About the Role

We are seeking an experienced media partnerships director to join our team. As a key ambassador for Dow Jones, you will be responsible for maintaining deep relationships with media partners and content providers.

The role involves driving sustainable revenue growth through mutually beneficial partnerships. This includes identifying and owning Dow Jones' engagement with Tier 1 international media, tech, membership, and loyalty firms to grow overall business.

  • Drive audience reach and brand subscription volumes, acquire new content, and ensure value propositions resonate with partners.
  • Evaluate suitability of partnerships and negotiate agreements.
  • Exemplary relationship management skills to retain and increase current partnerships and keep partners updated on Dow Jones opportunities.
  • Execute territory strategy with targets for revenue, international subscription growth, new sources, and expansion and retention goals for existing partners.
  • Partner cross-functionally throughout the company to update stakeholders from product, legal, finance, marketing, sales, events, and advertising departments.

You will also manage and develop The Dow Jones Media Partnerships Manager, working collaboratively on an in-region growth and acquisition plan territory plan. Additionally, you will act as a key liaison between the content licensing team and the Risk & Compliance team to set the strategy to acquire R&C content globally.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the media landscape, with a genuine interest in new technologies that serve these communities. You should also have experience managing partnerships across media, telcos, associations, and membership groups.

A minimum of 10 years of experience in a strategic, advisory, or relationship management position is required. Cross-functional stakeholder management/influencing skills (internal and external) are also essential. Solution-oriented approach to owning and accomplishing goals is necessary. Occasional travel may be required.

We prefer fluency in Mandarin but it's not mandatory.
