Job Opportunity: Business Development Manager, APAC

The role of Business Development Manager, APAC involves driving customer acquisition and distributor relationships in the region.

About the Role

This is a hands-on sales position that requires establishing new distributor or OEM relationships, managing existing distributor and direct customer relationships, developing a strategic growth plan for the APAC region, and conducting market and competitive analyses.

  • Conducting market and competitive analyses to identify trends and opportunities, including regulatory developments

Responsibilities also include partnering with HQ in Europe on revenue and customer growth targets, overseeing financial performance, profitability, and cost control, managing inventory and production planning, and reporting quarterly to the CEO and Global Sales Head on market risks, opportunities, and forecasts.

As the business scales, the successful candidate will be responsible for hiring and coaching a team in Singapore/APAC.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in mechanical, industrial, or related technical discipline, minimum five years in B2B product or solution sales, preferably with contacts in medical technology, strong distributor and OEM relationships in APAC, experience in scaling new markets, and project management skills.

A proven track record of achieving double-digit growth in components business, familiarity with CRM tools, willingness to travel frequently within Asia and Europe, excellent communication and negotiation skills, strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and an entrepreneurial mindset are essential for this role.
