Senior Relationship Manager, Financial Institutions

DBS Bank's Corporate and Investment Banking division provides comprehensive commercial banking services to corporate customers, including cash management, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans, and foreign exchange. Our commitment to long-standing relationships with customers in the region is built on account relationship management, service differentiation, product development, and rigorous credit standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of banks and drive growth in this segment.
- Develop new client relationships through a stringent client onboarding process.
- Understand client needs and possess in-depth knowledge of DBS Bank's product offerings, including treasury & markets, cash management, custody, loans, bonds, etc.
- Deepen wallet share of existing relationships through cross-selling and collaborate with product/credit partners to deliver tailored solutions to clients.
- Work closely with the in-country Financial Institutions team, sharing best practices and assisting in cross-border collaboration coordination as needed.
- Meet agreed revenue targets for the assigned portfolio.
- Take ownership of client relationships and provide prompt resolution to client requirements.
- Collaborate with Credit Managers to propose credit limits and justification for transactions.
- Negotiate ISDA/CSA, GMRA, GMSLA, etc. with clients as needed.
- Minimize credit and operational risks within the assigned portfolio.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with at least 3-7 years' relevant experience.
- Sales-driven mentality with a strong business development acumen.
- Good knowledge of the buying behavior of banks and bank-related companies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
- Resourceful individual with a positive attitude and a strong team player.
- Previous experience covering this segment with strong credit knowledge is an advantage.
