Job Overview:

The Senior Sales/Bid Support Manager will be responsible for driving profitable growth and sustainable cash generation in the APAC Commercial organization. This role will ensure that financial risks undertaken are commensurate with expected returns.

This position is accountable for all financial responsibilities related to underwriting new engines and services contracts, as well as risk exposure management. The successful candidate will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within their functional area of expertise, contribute to long-term planning, and drive overall business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop deal structures and products to win competitive campaigns and create customer solutions
  • Lead the deal underwriting and financial modeling process for new engines and services offerings
  • Partner with technical, product line, legal, operations, and sales teams to validate assumptions and scenarios
  • Monitor, assess, and manage enterprise and portfolio risks impacting GE Aviation's APAC business
  • Develop risk frameworks, preventive, and reactive measures to control and mitigate risk exposures
