Revenue Growth Specialist
">This role is focused on maximizing revenue and profits for hotels in the market. Key responsibilities include building rates, packages, and hotel sales strategy information in the hotel's inventory systems, as well as making pricing and positioning recommendations for market hotels.
">The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant business discipline or equivalent work experience, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Core work activities include executing revenue management projects and strategies, analyzing and reporting revenue management data, and promoting brand equity.
">Key accomplishments of this role include ensuring compliance and participation in company promotions and e-commerce channels, understanding the working relationship between sales, reservations, and property management systems, and achieving and exceeding goals including performance goals, budget goals, team goals, etc.

- Manage room authorizations, rates, and restrictions">
- Manage function space authorizations, restrictions, and rental">
- Manage rooms inventory to maximize cluster rooms revenue">
- Maintain the transient rooms inventory for the hotel(s) and be responsible for maximizing transient revenue">
- Release group rooms back into general inventory and ensure clean booking windows for customers">
- Ensure that the hotel(s) sales strategies are effectively implemented in the reservation system and the inventory system">
- Prepare sales strategy critique">
- Monitor transient and group inventory daily to ensure straight-line availability and maximization of revenue potential for all brands">
- Ensure that sales strategies and rate restrictions are communicated, implemented, and modified as market conditions fluctuate">
- Support cluster selling initiatives by working with all reservation centers">
- Use reservations system and demand forecasting systems to determine, implement, and control selling strategies">
- Ensure property diagnostic processes (PDP) are used to maximize revenue and profits">
- Initiate, implement, and evaluate revenue tests">
- Ensure compliance and participation in company promotions and eCommerce channels">
- Ensure all hotels follow brand strategies that will maintain and/or increase the hotel(s) revenue per available room (RevPAR) and revenue per available square foot (RevPAS)">
- Understand the working relationship between sales, reservations, and property management systems">
- Participate in periodic regional reviews">
- Promote and protect brand equity">
- Achieve and exceed goals including performance goals, budget goals, team goals, etc.">
- Attend meetings to plan, organize, prioritize, coordinate, and manage activities and solutions">
- Establish long-range objectives and specifying the strategies and actions to achieve them">
- Demonstrate knowledge of job-relevant issues, products, systems, and processes">
- Understand and meet the needs of key stakeholders (owners, corporate, guests, etc.)">
- Explore opportunities that drive profit, create value for clients, and encourage innovation; challenge existing processes/systems/products to make improvements">
- Compile information, analyze, and monitor actual sales against projected sales">
- Create long-range forecast for rooms and catering by segment and update forecast every period">
- Create weekly forecast for property operations and staffing purposes">
- Conduct sales strategy analysis and refine as appropriate to increase market share for all properties">
- Maintain accurate reservation system information">
- Analyze period end and other available systems data to identify trends, future need periods, and obstacles to achieving goals">
