APJ Partner Core Leadership Role


Job Description:

As a seasoned leader, you will drive AWS's partner strategy and execution across the Asia Pacific and Japan region. This role oversees key partner programs, strategic collaboration agreements, special initiatives, and foundational co-sell and funding support.

You will lead a cross-functional organization of over 45 team members across APJ, overseeing partner programs including APN Programs, Partner Program Delivery, Migration & Modernization initiatives, Strategic Collaboration Agreements, Enablement, and special GTM initiatives.

Key responsibilities include driving strategic business outcomes across 8 established countries and 6 emerging markets in ASEAN, accelerating AWS adoption through strategic partnerships and programs, managing and optimizing partner programs while maintaining global consistency and regional effectiveness, setting and achieving functional goals for migrations, modernization, channel revenue, and Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) revenue, leading executive engagement with partners through summits, EBCs, and strategic discussions, and driving AI adoption and innovation within partner programs and operations.


Basic Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of experience as a Global Sales, Business Development Leader, and partner management with a track record of consolidating and unifying dispersed teams into a world-class, customer-centric global organization.
  • Experience building and leading teams and have worked in matrix operating structures.
  • Exceptionally strong business acumen and financial modeling skills, with the ability to develop comprehensive business cases and pricing strategies that maximize customer and shareholder value.
  • Proven expertise in leading and coordinating large, complex, cross-functional initiatives that drive transformational customer outcomes. You excel at translating high-level strategy into flawless execution.

  • Adept at leveraging data and analytics to develop customer insights, forecast performance, and inform strategic decision-making. You have a keen eye for detail while maintaining a big-picture, executive-level perspective.
