About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our Compressor Technique Service team in Singapore. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing professional field service and consultancy to maximize customer satisfaction on our service quality and capability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement correct working methods, use correct tools, and observe all safety rules and regulations on site.
  • Carry out daily jobs as assigned or instructed by the Supervisor or Manager.
  • Test run and monitor serviced units, record all readings to ensure units are running at satisfactory conditions.
  • Write reports of jobs carried out on the service work order or recommend any follow-up actions if needed.
  • Explain to customers if any follow-up or repair jobs are needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness at compressor rooms and surrounding areas before leaving customers' premises.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and quality feedback to the technical specialist according to customer feedback.
  • Record all time spent in the field, workshop, and other activities.
  • Timely and correct feedback on work orders, weekly reports, and monthly reports.
  • Work closely with sales teams and project teams to satisfy customers.
  • Maintain proper PPEs, ensure service vehicles are in good and clean condition, upkeep personal tools and equipment, and workshop areas.
  • Ensure proper usage and maintenance of all workshop equipment or measuring equipment.

Requirements

  • Responsible as first-line support for all electrical/electronic related troubleshoot and applications.
  • Develop and acquire in-depth product knowledge and skills for ES control systems, Airscan, VSD, motors, and other electrical products within AC compressor ranges.
  • Act as a Product specialist for ES control systems, Airscan, and VSD to support the aftersales team.
  • Continuous development and support function to field technical teams on electrical/electronic related matters.
