Job Title: Junior Kitchen Team Lead

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Junior Kitchen Team Lead to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, be able to manage and motivate their team members, and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • SUPPORT AND GUIDE THE KITCHEN TEAM IN ALL ASPECTS OF KITCHEN MANAGEMENT
  • ENSURE TIMELY DELIVERY OF CONSISTENT FOOD QUALITY
  • IMPLEMENT EFFECTIVE STOCK AND FRESH FOOD ROTATION TO MINIMISE WASTAGE
  • ADOPT A PROACTIVE APPROACH TO HEALTH AND SAFETY STANDARDS

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Essential Skills:

  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene procedures
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in a similar role or within the culinary industry
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment and inventory management systems
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations
