Chef de Partie Job Description

At our esteemed Italian restaurant, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team.

This key role involves overseeing the smooth operation of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes meet the highest standards of taste, presentation, and timing.

  • The ideal candidate will possess a strong culinary background, preferably in modern European or Italian cuisine, with a minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a professional kitchen.

A high level of leadership skill is required, as well as the ability to motivate and guide junior staff members to achieve exceptional results. Strong communication skills are also essential for effective collaboration with the Head Chef, Sous Chef, and other team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee the daily preparation of menu items, ensuring consistency in quality and adherence to recipes.
  2. Maintain a clean, well-organized, and efficient workstation at all times, adhering to strict hygiene and food safety standards.
  3. Train and mentor junior staff in culinary techniques and best practices.
  4. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu ideas and improve existing ones.
  5. Assist in managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining kitchen equipment.
