Strategic Regional Alliances Director

About the Role:We are seeking a seasoned Regional Alliances Manager to join our team in Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and South Korea. As a key member of our Channels and Alliances team, you will be responsible for building and managing strategic partnerships with distributors, systems integrators, resellers, hyperscalers, and technology alliance partners.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop Annual Business Plans with partners, focusing on investments, capability building, marketing, demand generation, and sales plays.
- Collaborate with presales, enablement, and success teams to build sales and technical capabilities within partners.
- Create pipeline and deal registrations through marketing initiatives and MDF programs.
- Help partners develop a point of view on driving OKTA sales, fostering trust, and co-selling into their account base.
- Work closely with Sales to define tailored value propositions and create detailed go-to-market plans that strengthen our value proposition while providing new revenue opportunities.
- Ensure partners deliver best-in-class deployments of OKTA, strong customer support, and adoption programs, making our mutual customers successful.
- Serve as the partner advocate inside Okta, evangelizing partners and their opportunities by injecting partner DNA into Okta field sales.
- Represent both the voice of Regional Alliance Partners to Okta and the voice of Okta to Partners, resolving issues and growing revenue.
- Manage and report pipeline on a regular basis.
- 5-10 years of experience in partner management, preferably in Cybersecurity or SaaS companies, with a track record of implementing channel/field alliances strategies to drive increased sales.
- Strong experience in driving partner-sourced demand and partner capability building.
- A proven ability to exceed revenue targets.
- A business leader who can influence and build strong relationships with decision-makers across all levels of partner and prospect organizations.
- English and Mandarin speaking skills are essential; proficiency in Korean and direct sales experience are highly valued.
- A competitive salary of around $120,000 per year, based on local market conditions and your level of experience.
