Job Overview:

As a seasoned IT professional, we are seeking an experienced Technical Solutions Strategist to partner with sales teams in developing innovative solutions and providing expert presales support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Craft detailed technical specifications in tenders and RFPs, offering guidance on system configurations and best practices.
  • Conduct engaging product solution presentations and demonstrations, highlighting enterprise data management technologies.
  • Design and architect solutions that align with industry standards and client requirements.
  • Execute and manage Proof of Concept (POC) installations for customer evaluations.
  • Ensure seamless handover of solutions from presales to implementation teams.
  • Engage directly with customers, presenting ideas and solutions persuasively.
  • Maintain expertise in emerging technologies through ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
  • Coach junior team members and share knowledge with the sales team to enhance technical understanding.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related field with a minimum of 3 years experience in a consulting role.
  • Experience with virtualization solutions (e.g. VMware, Citrix) and data storage/backup technologies (e.g. Dell EMC, NetApp).
  • Proficient in designing multi-tiered IT architecture solutions and familiar with leading IT solution vendors.
  • Strong capability in managing IT solution projects for RFPs and Tenders, with a customer-focused and proactive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a preference for candidates with hands-on implementation experience and relevant professional certifications.
