Job Title: Technical Solutions Strategist

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Technical Solutions Strategist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise to aid clients in making strategic investments in solutions that meet their business needs.

About the Role:
This position involves working closely with clients to understand their technology requirements and develop tailored solutions to address their challenges. You will be expected to stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, applying your knowledge to drive business growth and revenue.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain involvement and aid in advancing opportunities throughout the qualification, definition, proof/evaluation, proposal, and closure phases of the sales process.
  • Engage with the sales representative and prospect to ensure a prospect's business needs can be addressed with current and roadmap product capabilities.
  • Provide guidance and support for proofs of concepts, workshops, and seminars as deemed necessary.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on the customers end, aiding technology stakeholders in establishing and achieving their expectations.
  • Conduct research and draft responses to the technical segments of requests for information (RFIs), requests for proposals (RFPs), and requests for quotes (RFQs).
  • Collaborate with Sales teams to evaluate the potential applicability of SUSE solutions.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must possess strong technical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, preferably in a technical or sales capacity. Additionally, a strong understanding of the SUSE portfolio and its applications is essential. A background in open source technologies and experience working with diverse customer bases would be highly valued.
