Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Markets Sales Business Manager to join our team at SOCIETE GENERALE. As a key member of our Global Markets Business Manager office, you will play a pivotal role in helping the Global Market team's development and preventing operational risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and transformation of Global Market Sales in South-Asia by sponsoring or leading key projects that have a strong impact on clients.
  • Accompany regulatory changes impacting our businesses and maintain the alignment of Global Market Sales objectives with those of support and control functions.
  • Continuously improve the efficiency of the Global Market South-Asia Sales set-up by optimizing our client base and services, identifying and delivering simplification initiatives, and streamlining and automating processes.
  • Ensure the Global Market Sales South-Asia businesses are properly run, controlled, and protected by securing the framework of our commercial franchise, identifying operational risks, and taking corrective actions.
  • Provide relevant support to the local Head of Global Markets, including budget and roadmap preparation, strategic reviews, and activity reports.
Requirements
  • 7-10 years of experience in global markets-related roles, with 3-5 years in Sales Business Management.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or finance-related fields.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Strong understanding of the global markets environment, including knowledge of equity listed and OTC products.
  • Project management skills and experience, with good coordination skills and ability to prioritize competing tasks and deadlines.
Operational Skills

As a Global Markets Sales Business Manager, you will possess strong decision-making skills, with a focus on risk awareness, and be able to advise the head of platform and sales desks on sales efficiency, compliance with rules, and mitigation solutions.

You will also be able to prioritize competing tasks and deadlines, and be flexible and adaptable to fluid situations.
