We are seeking a highly skilled Hotel Revenue Manager to join our team. As a key member of the revenue management team, you will be responsible for analyzing data and preparing reports to support revenue driving activities.
The ideal candidate will have current/prior experience in hotel revenue management and possess a strong understanding of revenue management systems and distribution tools. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools is also required.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated skills in data analysis, problem-solving, and strategic planning. They will be able to translate complex data into actionable business strategies and work effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and complete standard reports including month-end related documents by collating data from different sources.
- Assist in preparing ad-hoc analysis and reports to support revenue driving activities.
- Manage and conduct regular audits on rate and availability of OTAs and brand website.
- Participate and engage with key contacts of OTA and electronic distribution partners to maximize exposure and business opportunities.
- Recognise and correct any rate parity issues found online.
- Based on data analysis, identify opportunities for incremental revenue and propose tactical actions.
- Conduct competitive research and market intelligence for DORM to decide on strategic pricing decision.
- Ensure that all channels of distribution such as direct, GDS, and other online channels - are always maintained at optimal working level.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in revenue and distribution management within the hotel industry.
- Working knowledge of key revenue management systems and distribution tools.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools.
- Demonstrated skills in data analysis, problem-solving and strategic planning.
