We are seeking a qualified professional to join our team as a Rehabilitation Activity Coordinator. In this role, you will play a vital part in planning and implementing meaningful activities for residents.

  • This position involves working closely with registered therapists to develop engaging programs that cater to the diverse needs of our residents. Your goal is to create a stimulating environment that encourages social interaction, physical activity, and emotional well-being.
  • You will be responsible for setting up rooms and activity areas for events, preparing equipment, and transporting residents to designated locations. Conducting general body conditioning exercises and recording attendance at UMC Rehabilitation Attendance are also key aspects of this role.
  • Maintenance of inventory, disinfection of equipment, and adherence to infection control guidelines are essential duties that require your attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Qualification Requirements:
  • GCE 'N' or 'O' Levels, NITEC in Community Care & Social Services, and Certificate on Healthcare Support (Therapy Support) are mandatory qualifications for this position.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in healthcare or ILTC settings is preferred.
Key Skills:
  • Familiarity with exercise therapy, inventory management, healthcare, and social services principles is necessary for success in this role.
  • Prior experience in creative learning, customer care, and teamwork is highly valued.
  • Strong knowledge of fire safety and infection control practices is essential.
