Are you experienced in animal rehabilitation or interested in joining the animal rehabilitation industry in providing care for animals such as dogs, cats, rabbits and even guinea pigs? VRH is seeking Rehabilitation Therapist Assistants (RTA) to join our team

Our facility includes an underwater treadmill, e-stim, laser therapy, therapeutic ultrasound, and an array of physiotherapy equipment to treat orthopedic and neurological patients, post-surgical patients as well as obese and geriatric wellness patients.

VRH is led by an experienced CCRP veterinarian with chiropractic and CVA certifications, Dr Maike Daum, and a team of certified rehabilitation therapists with years of experience in the field. Being a part of Beecroft Animal Specialist & Emergency Hospital, VRH liaises closely with the surgical and hospital team in providing rehabilitation services and care for our patients. **Primary responsibilities of a Rehabilitation Therapist Assistant (RTA)**:

- Assist fellow rehabilitation therapists with animal handling and restraining during therapies
- Maintaining overall cleanliness and tidiness in the clinic
- Showering and drying of patients who have undergone hydrotherapy

**Qualities we are looking for**:

- Cheerful disposition

- Able to work independently
- Able to work in a fast paced environment

**Preferred certifications for the role**:

- Certified Hydrotherapists
- Certified Animal Physiotherapists
- Human Physiotherapists
- Veterinary Technicians/Veterinary Assistants
- Anyone with an interest in rehabilitation for animals

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 28-44 per week

**Salary**: From $2,000.00 per month

Schedule:

**Experience**:
