Job Title: Rehabilitation Activity Coordinator

The role of a Rehabilitation Activity Coordinator is to plan, organize and implement engaging activities for residents in a healthcare setting. The coordinator will work closely with the therapy team to ensure that activities are tailored to meet the needs of residents with varying levels of mobility and ability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute activity sessions for residents, including outings, arts and crafts, cooking sessions, and other events.
  • Set up activity areas and prepare necessary equipment.
  • Transport residents to and from activity sessions as needed.
  • Conduct general body conditioning exercises and assist with maintaining resident's physical well-being.
  • Record attendance and maintain inventory of activity equipment.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to departmental work.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Certificate in Healthcare Support (Therapy Support) or equivalent.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare or ILTC setting.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
