Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly experienced Sales Director to lead our Academia and Public Sector team in the APAC market. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, acquiring new business, and developing our client base across various company verticals.

Requirements
  • 8-10 years of direct sales experience, preferably in market intelligence products and services or SaaS online solutions
  • Must-Have: Experience in outbound Academia or government sales, as well as acquiring new business in the Southeast Asia region
  • Experience mentoring a team (2-5 people)
  • Excellent command of English and Chinese
  • Competitive sales nature with a desire to win
  • Customer-centric mindset to understand how Statista can benefit our prospects
  • Experience in driving sales negotiations with both influencers and decision makers
  • Ability to manage a high volume of activity
  • Desire to be part of a rapidly expanding business
