About the Role

At AIA Singapore Private Limited, we're committed to creating a healthier, more sustainable future for everyone. Our Provider Engagement team plays a vital role in shaping this future by implementing healthcare initiatives that support our Provider Network strategy.

As a key member of this team, you'll work closely with the Head of Provider Engagement & Quality and other colleagues to drive progress in the management of healthcare providers, including hospitals, clinics, doctors, and day surgery centers. Your goal will be to ensure long-term sustainability of our health business and portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement provider negotiation strategies, including contracts that facilitate effective healthcare cost management.
  • Manage and maintain the healthcare providers network and partners for AIA Singapore.
  • Support initiatives in the development of triage/preferred network strategies, clinical pathways, concurrent review processes, disease management strategies, and other medical management-related improvements.
  • Liaise with healthcare providers and partners to ensure compliance with contractual SLAs and KPIs.
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers and partners to ensure a smooth customer journey for AIA clients, including supporting pre-auth requests and claims-related queries as needed.
  • Develop and execute strategies for service feedback to ensure excellence in service quality by our healthcare providers and partners.
  • Perform regular clinic audits and reviews of our panel providers.
  • Investigate service quality issues or lapses highlighted by customers or agents.
  • Perform certification checks and background checks of our healthcare providers and partners.
  • Ensure successful completion of project deliverables within specified milestones, including negotiations and approval of provider contracts.
  • Deploy best practices in provider management.
  • Support management and control of claims costs and medical claims inflation to achieve Loss Ratio targets.
  • Improve customer satisfaction, cost-effective, and quality of care metrics related to medical management and care coordination.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant healthcare provider management experience.
  • Knowledge of clinical best practices and market practices.
  • Experience in operations, insurance products, or other related functions is an added advantage.
  • Ability to work with external advisors, including consultants and market research advisors.
  • Flexible and able to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with a proven track record of delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks or projects effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal relationship skills and a team player.
  • Analytical problem-solving, decision-making, and judgment skills.
