Head of Marketing for Global Selling Southeast Asia

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Marketing Leader to join our Amazon Asia-Pacific Holdings Private Limited team as Head of Marketing for Global Selling Southeast Asia. This is a unique opportunity to lead and develop a high-performing marketing organization, driving business growth and brand awareness across multiple Southeast Asian countries.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy for Amazon Global Selling Southeast Asia, driving brand awareness, demand generation, and product marketing initiatives.
- Lead and manage a diverse marketing team, providing guidance and support to ensure the team's success in executing marketing plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business leaders, Seller Education, Public Policy, and Public Relationship, to implement key initiatives in Southeast Asia.
- Calibrate with local partners to enhance marketing processes, infrastructure, and technology, ensuring optimal results.
- Lead key reviews with Global/Asia senior leaders on marketing strategy, performance, and key initiatives proposals.
- Create and own goals and performance metrics for branding and demand generation campaigns, monitoring effectiveness and iterating for continuous improvement.
- Participate as a key stakeholder with the seller consultant/biz leadership in the region and geography, contributing to business annual planning, quarterly reviews, and offering ongoing updates to key stakeholders' teams.
Amazon operates 18 online marketplaces worldwide, enabling businesses to grow internationally. Our Global Selling program has grown by over 50% in recent years, with tens of thousands of businesses joining the marketplace and adding millions of new products. We aim to offer the earth's largest product selection and lowest prices for our customers, and our vision is to market to local country Sellers to persuade them to launch their products onto the platform.
Requirements- BS/BE in business, marketing, or technology, with operational experience beyond marketing a plus.
- Proven track record with 8+ years marketing experience, specifically in running a Southeast Asia marketing organization and managing a team for an enterprise company.
- Experience in marketing B2B products or services in Southeast Asia, with a career path demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility and proven success delivering measurable marketing results.
- Ability to manage time and juggle multiple priorities to execute high-quality deliverables, with strong communication skills and an innate attention to data and details.
