Career Opportunity: Child Development Therapist

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill this critical role.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in child development and a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience.

The successful candidate will be passionate about working with children and families, with experience in paediatrics being an advantage. Registration with the relevant authorities is mandatory.

This position involves assessing gross motor skills, posture, balance, gait, and mobility in children, and developing personalized treatment plans using evidence-based techniques.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess gross motor skills, posture, balance, gait, and mobility in children
  • Design and deliver individualized treatment plans using evidence-based child development techniques
  • Provide therapy to improve physical function, strength, coordination, and endurance
  • Advise on the use of assistive devices, orthotics, and mobility aids
  • Collaborate with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent care
  • Educate parents and caregivers on home exercise programs and therapeutic handling
  • Keep progress notes and update care plans
  • Participate in team meetings and case discussions
