Job Title: Learning and Development Specialist

At PHOON HUAT PTE. LTD., we are seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and track internal and external training activities to ensure seamless execution.
  • Collate training needs from the annual performance appraisal cycle and support HR Manager in following up with departments and stakeholders.
  • Source training providers and relevant programs to support training and development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Business Partner to design a comprehensive onboarding training program.
  • Follow up on training evaluation and effectiveness after each training session.
  • Compile training reports and statistics to measure program impact.
  • Engage with government authorities to explore funding, grants, and support initiatives for training programs.
Training Platform:
  • Work closely with Subject Matter Experts to design and develop internal e-learning materials.
  • Upload materials onto e-training platforms and track progress.
Training Calendar:
  • Maintain and publish the Training Calendar to ensure execution of training programs.
Company Values:
  • Create awareness and promote activities on Company Values.
  • Propose initiatives and activities to promote Company Values.
  • Facilitate in-house activities to promote Company Values.
Talent Management:
  • Maintain an inventory of high-potential employees.
Internship Program:
  • Coordinate with departments on internship programs.
  • Ensure a comprehensive Internship Agenda is set up.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in learning and development.
  • Passionate about promoting a culture of continuous learning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills.
