Regional Business Growth Strategist APAC

BASF Venezolana, S.A. is seeking an experienced Regional Commercial Excellence Manager APAC to drive strategic projects and initiatives across Asia-Pacific.
About the Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for defining, implementing, and optimizing sales channel strategies to ensure alignment with business objectives and market demands. You will analyze and evaluate the performance of sales channels, identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring consistent execution across all channels. Additionally, you will streamline channel operations, improve efficiency, and implement best practices to enhance overall sales effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive & support key marketing projects and initiatives in and across Asia-Pacific.
• Define, implement, and optimize sales channel strategies to ensure alignment with business objectives and market demands.
• Analyze and evaluate the performance of sales channels, identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring consistent execution across all channels.
• Streamline channel operations, improve efficiency, and implement best practices to enhance overall sales effectiveness.
• Implement customer categorization strategy with clear business rules to ensure continuous portfolio management and effective business steering.
• Support implementation of segment strategies together with Regional Marketing Head and Regional Segment Managers.
• Support development of platforms for best practice sharing across APAC region.
• Develop consistent collection of market & competitive information in close collaboration with Regional Segment Managers.
• Develop & communicate cost-based pricing guidance in close collaboration with Regional Segment Managers.
• Increase transparency on raw material cost impacts on finished goods.
• Margin monitoring and proposal of corrective measures to be communicated towards Regional Marketing Managers.
Requirements:
• At least Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Economics or Business Administration.
• At least 6 years of experience in field of chemical markets, coatings and/or automotive industry.
• Good knowledge of commercial marketing or product marketing.
• Team player with prior experience in project management.
• Highly entrepreneurial mindset with strong analytical skills.
• Travelling within region required.
