Vibrant Latin American Grill House Chef

We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our vibrant Latin American grill house team. As a key member of our kitchen brigade, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional food and service experiences to our guests.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring quality, consistency, and timely service. This includes working closely with the Head Chef to execute menus that showcase our Latin American identity and taking charge of steak preparation and grilling, from selecting cuts and seasoning to mastering doneness and presentation.
You will also train, guide, and inspire the kitchen team to uphold our standards and culture, maintain strict compliance with hygiene and food safety regulations, manage stock levels, ordering, and kitchen organisation efficiently, and collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service.
Required Skills and Qualifications- A proven track record as a long-term Chef de Partie, recent Junior Sous Chef, or higher, ideally in quality-driven kitchens.
- Strong skills in handling, seasoning, and grilling steaks to perfection.
- Good leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Understanding of meat quality, portioning, and plating standards; knowledge of Latin-American flavours is a plus.
- Familiarity with Singapore's food hygiene regulations.
