Our organization is seeking an experienced Culinary Assistant to join our team. In this key role, you will work closely with the Head Chef to prepare Tonkatsu and other Japanese dishes.

This position involves assisting in various aspects of kitchen operations, including breading, frying, and plating. You must be able to maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and safety at all times.

Your responsibilities will also include managing inventory, checking ingredient quality, guiding junior staff when needed, and ensuring consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.

We are looking for a highly skilled candidate who possesses excellent teamwork, communication, and professionalism skills. If you have experience working in fast-paced kitchens and can follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), we would like to hear from you.

In addition to your cooking experience, knowledge of Japanese ingredients and frying techniques is essential for this role. A food safety certification is considered an advantage. We prefer non-smokers for this position.
