Job Title: Japanese Culinary Expert

Job Description:
  • Working Hours: 10:30am to 2:30pm and 5pm - 9pm (Split Shift)
  • 6 Days, 44 Hours Work Week
  • Location: King Albert Park
  • Minimum 1 year experience required

 

We are seeking a skilled Japanese Cuisine Chef to lead our kitchen team. As the head chef, you will oversee daily operations and maintain high standards of quality control, food safety, and hygiene throughout the restaurant.

The ideal candidate must have excellent culinary skills, particularly in preparing Japanese cuisine. You will work closely with the management team to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional customer satisfaction.

 

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and timely preparation of meals.
  2. Maintain strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and industry standards for food safety and quality control.
  3. Uphold high standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation in the kitchen and dining areas.
  4. Minimize food waste and optimize inventory levels.
  5. Conduct training sessions for junior staff members on proper cooking techniques and kitchen protocols.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Japanese Cuisine Chef or equivalent role
  • Diploma in Culinary Arts is an asset
  • Excellent culinary skills, particularly in Japanese cuisine
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
