Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical support and troubleshooting of medical equipment to doctors, nurses, and other key opinion leaders
  • Assist medical professionals in becoming familiar with medical equipment, including its merits, proper clinical procedures, and usage
  • Organize and conduct training sessions on the principal's products to health professionals in hospitals
  • Answer queries relating to the product range and communicate technical details and functions of products effectively
  • Monitor and promote the utilization of products
  • Assist in the preparation of sales quotations
  • Assist in the analysis of buyer profiles to enhance the performance of sales channels
  • Participate in training opportunities to stay updated on product knowledge and market trends
  • Participate in case reviews and attend procedures in operating rooms of the hospital when needed
  • Identify business opportunities and develop strategic accounts
  • Establish strong relationships with key opinion leaders to promote products
  • Work closely with principals to stay equipped with the relevant understanding of new technology and devices in the General Surgery department
  • Participate in promotional activities to increase product awareness in the market
  • Develop and implement plans for the product line, including recommendations for the current product pipeline
  • Actively participate in workshops and trainings to gain in-depth understanding of technologies and devices
  • Hold a credible dialogue with surgeons, consultants, and key decision-makers
  • Ensure consistent sales growth and provide high-quality care and attention to customers throughout the sales and service process of medical technology procured
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues from other departments to ensure a smooth sales process

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Nursing, Biomedical, Biotechnology, Biology, Medical Science, TCM, or Science
  • Experience in sales of medical devices, preferably in the cardiac department
  • Able to travel overseas if required
  • Able to work overtime as and when required, including weekends
  • Comfortable in supporting cases in Operating Theatres
