Transforming Quality Excellence

Micron is seeking a visionary leader to spearhead the Global Quality department, driving outstanding quality and high-performance teams. As Senior Director of Assembly/Test Central Quality, you will craft the vision and management of a department to enable exceptional quality and a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a motivated high-performance team, optimizing department performance and structure.
  • Develop and implement service strategies aligned to corporate objectives, establishing and monitoring department performance through key metrics.
  • Drive and optimize departmental performance by close collaboration with stakeholders, building and implementing service strategies aligned to corporate objectives.

Delivering Strategic Solutions

  • Establish organizational roadmaps and strategies to drive long-term vision for best-in-class quality performance, deploying strategies across all BE MFG and Supplier sites.
  • Ensure team members are properly trained according to department compliance and work requirements, leading internal budgets and driving active cost reduction in your department.
  • Identify and understand department service requirements, ensuring they align with stakeholders' expectations, developing and measuring department metrics, and overseeing functional metrics to ensure deliverables meet or exceed expectations.

Ensuring a Safe, Compliant, and Ethical Work Environment

  • Maintain knowledge of and apply company safety, labor, and ethics policies, communicating requirements and expectations to leaders and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve and/or report potential safety, security, and labor issues, demonstrating teamwork, self-development, drive for results, integrity, and trust.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of process control systems and change management, demonstrated forward-thinking leadership with the ability to inspire change and influence and build consensus with highly technical field teams, customers, and senior leadership.
  • Drive and execute a wide range of global initiatives with global teams, ability and willingness to travel internationally.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in engineering management or related field of study; Semiconductor background highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years at Director level role or higher.
