As an Onboarding Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with internal policies and AML/KYC requirements, while identifying opportunities for process improvement to mitigate compliance risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct client due diligence and enhanced due diligence in accordance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Provide high-quality customer service by owning, monitoring, and improving customer service, handling customer inquiries, and managing communications with customers throughout the onboarding process.
  • Involve internal teams to ensure a cohesive approach to customer onboarding and account administration.
  • Participate in internal and external training programs related to AML/CFT and other subjects that may form part of the day-to-day work requirements.
  • Handle ad hoc tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree and an advanced degree or certification.
  • 2-3 years of experience in the financial services sector or handling end-to-end onboarding of new/existing customer accounts; knowledge and experience in collection of Know Your Customer ("KYC") information and managing the customer onboarding would be an advantage.
  • Highly effective verbal and written communications.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Highly organized with work tools like emails, spreadsheets, databases.
  • Extremely high sense of urgency when servicing external and internal clients.
  • Analytical skills, positive attitude, listening, and problem-solving skills.
