This role is part of the People Partnering team as part of the PPC organization. The People Partnering organization covers HR / People / Business partnering and also local operations that includes employee relations, benefits, policies and execution. The partnering organization is responsible for developing and deploying the people & culture agenda in line with the company strategic direction. The operations organization serves as a backbone to enable the partners and the business in providing relevant solutions on people processes respecting geographical and site nuances.
Key collaborators include the APAC Market group leadership team, APAC leaders, ELT people partners, Singapore Hub leadership team. Manager, Employee Relations as a position is critical to ensure consistency in flawless execution of people processes within APAC. As part of the partnering and operations team, it's a significant role that supports consistent execution and understanding of employee relations in All APAC markets with a main focus on Singapore.
This role is responsible for driving employee relations, compliance, and HR policies in APAC. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in a Site HR role, with a strong understanding of APAC Market labour market, particularly in Singapore and Australia/NZ. The candidate should have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and be a very strong collaborator and manager.
The role will involve working closely with the PPC Director on developing, implementing and evaluating various PPC programs, HR functions and activities (D&I, G3P). The candidate will also work on Singapore Hub engagement related activities and projects, coach/advise Site leads across APAC on consistent employee relations management, and ensure the right capability & proficiencies of ER team.
