Human Resources Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Human Resources Leader to oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This individual will be the go-to person for all employee-related issues, ensuring a positive work environment where everyone works towards our established mission and objectives.

The ideal candidate will promote corporate values and shape a positive culture, while handling day-to-day operations such as onboarding and offboarding, updating employee data, managing payroll, work pass processing and management, employee relations, and partnering with managers or in-charge of outlets on HR matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage HR team and its responsibilities effectively
  • Handle and manage in-house payroll to ensure timely and accurate delivery
  • Ensure legal compliance by implementing policies in accordance with current and new legislation
  • Maintain an accurate HR database and up-to-date employee records
  • Participate in recruitment process by working closely with operations teams
  • Prepare contracts for new staff and conduct contract briefing sessions
  • Monitor key HR metrics and maintain recruitment updates and reports
  • Plan manpower, including quota and foreign worker allocation
  • Secure suitable government grants for the organization
  • Achieve and ensure completion of HR projects according to schedule
Requirements:
  • Diploma/degree in HR or related discipline
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive nature, analytical, resourceful, and able to multitask
  • Good understanding of employment act and labor/manpower cost (related to payroll)
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on HR Generalist experience
