Job Title: Hygiene Specialist and Projects Assistant

At Sofitel Singapore City Centre, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Hygiene Specialist and Projects Assistant to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food safety and sanitation across our hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead annual HACCP, ALLSAFE, and SGClean audits to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
  • Champion food safety and hygiene standards throughout the hotel.
  • Conduct regular checks on sanitation and hygiene standards to ensure the safety of food served to guests and employees.
  • Ensure all touch-points and work areas conform to required hygiene and sanitation levels.
  • Responsible for maintaining up-to-date records and documentation related to sanitation and hygiene efforts.
  • Conduct monthly sanitation inspections and generate reports.
  • Liaise with external agencies on sanitary matters.
Projects Assistance:
  • Prepare documentations and submit applications for hotel projects eligible for Government Support schemes.
  • Participate in new project implementations and launches with systems setup and data submission.
Corporate Social Responsibility:
  • Assist in driving CSR activities and events for the hotel.
  • Liaise with Charity bodies and organizations on logistics and communication.
  • Maintain regular communication with Heads of Department.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel environment.
  • Demonstrated administration experience, with Human Resources essential.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Administration or Hospitality, preferred.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
