Learning Solutions Innovator

The Institute for Adult Learning (IAL) is at the forefront of building capabilities and offering continuing professional development for an effective, innovative and responsive Training and Adult Education (TAE) sector. Our mission is to advance the development, prototyping, proliferation, and adoption of proven innovative learning solutions.
As a key member of our team, you will work closely with Programme Managers to meet our centre's objectives. Your role will be pivotal in fostering a vibrant ecosystem that encourages collaboration, continuous innovation, and engagement across the TAE sector.
You will drive content and ecosystem development to promote innovation and contribute to the continuous improvement of our programmes. This includes reviewing programme design and grant proposals, strategising enterprise adoptions, and participating in cross-team collaboration.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing plans to proliferate adoption of proven learning innovations
- Driving ecosystem development through platforms such as Innovation microsite, Innovation Showcases, and Innovation Day
- Developing initiatives and resources to support enterprises to successfully adopt and integrate learning solutions
- Leading community-building and engagement efforts to attract high-quality grant applicants and foster interest in innovation programmes
- Cultivating engaging content for the microsite and other media platforms, collaborating with subject matter experts to profile innovations and CWLI initiatives
- Contributing to the development and enhancement of new and existing programmes to ensure relevance and effectiveness
- Evaluating programmes and initiatives to improve intervention design and outcomes
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A master's or bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, innovation and/or business management, education technology, or learning sciences
- Minimally 5-8 years of working experience in education and adult learning and training sectors; or a related role in Business Development / Corporate Development / Strategic Planning with good experience in market research, project and contract management
- Demonstrate strong communication skills (written and verbal) to engage and influence stakeholders of all levels of seniority
- Prior experience in the Training and Adult Education (TAE) sector is highly preferred
- Experience in facilitating and enabling commercialisation of products and services
- Strong presentation and communication skills, including the ability to prepare effective presentation materials for senior management on deals
- Strong systems thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to connect the dots to develop a deeper appreciation of current and emerging key issues and exercising good judgement to provide sound recommendations
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to meet deadlines and deliver on KPIs
