Job Title: Learning Solutions Specialist
This role is an opportunity to leverage your instructional design expertise and passion for learning sciences to drive innovative solutions in education.
About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Learning Solutions Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our instructional design team, you will work closely with faculty members to create cutting-edge blended learning experiences that enhance student outcomes.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Design and Develop Engaging Learning Experiences: Collaborate with faculty to identify learning needs and design effective learning strategies that incorporate adult learning theories and emerging technologies.
- Facilitate Faculty Development Workshops: Develop and deliver workshops on teaching and learning best practices, focusing on innovative pedagogies and technology-enhanced learning.
- Conduct Needs Assessment and Evaluation: Assess faculty capability development needs and evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives through data analysis and research.
- Stay Current with Learning Sciences and Technology: Stay up-to-date with learning sciences, innovative teaching and learning practices in higher education, and emerging technologies to inform your work.
Requirements
- Education: A University degree in Instructional Design, Education, or Learning Sciences and Technologies.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in instructional design, teaching and learning within a higher educational setting or with adult learners.
- Skill Set: Proven ability to manage successful learning projects, expert knowledge of applying Adult Learning theories in blended learning experiences, strong research skills, and excellent communication and presentation skills.
