Category Strategist

We are seeking an accomplished Category Strategist to lead our category strategy initiatives. This role is pivotal in driving business transformation and growth by developing and implementing strategies that enhance supply chain efficiency, resiliency, and overall cost-effectiveness.

About the Role

This Senior Category Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Leveraging spend optimization techniques to drive significant cost savings.
  • Negotiating and managing outsourcing agreements for key components, focusing on EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) of power supplies and accessories.
  • Developing and maintaining strategic supplier relationships to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Serving as a liaison between sourcing, R&D, and engineering teams to ensure seamless collaboration and visibility.
  • Providing innovative solutions to mitigate risks, ensuring supply continuity, and meeting key procurement metrics.
