Category Merchandising Manager

This is a highly strategic and analytical role where you will be responsible for leading the merchandising strategy and plans for our category in South APAC.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor landscape. You will be required to develop and implement effective assortment strategies, product selections, and category plans to drive sales and demand.

You will also be responsible for managing channel allocations across retail, franchise, wholesale, and e-commerce platforms, as well as establishing overall product category mix, margin, and pricing strategies.

In this role, you will be working closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, wholesale, and retail departments to launch seasonal trade shows and promote our products.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing sales forecasts and monthly margin and sell-through analysis by category and determining OTB budget
  • Managing the product lifecycle across channels in coordination with Retail and Wholesale Directors
  • Conducting detailed sales, sell-through, inventory, and margin analysis to drive merchandising plans and boost sales
  • Preparing promotion strategy and promotion calendar with close partnership with Retail, Marketing, and Wholesale teams

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, merchandising, or related field
  • Minimum 6 years of merchandising experience
  • Strong understanding of financial concepts, including budgetary management and forecasting
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build sustainable working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
