Job Title: Boutique Operations Manager

Are you a highly organized and customer-focused professional with experience in managing day-to-day operations? Do you have a passion for delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for clients? We are seeking a skilled Operations Manager to oversee the smooth operation of our bridal gown rental boutique.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring seamless client experiences, inventory control, scheduling, and upholding high standards of service and presentation. This includes:

  1. Ensuring smooth boutique operations including appointment scheduling, client check-ins, and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for gown trials and returns.
  2. Monitoring gown availability, coordinating cleaning and alterations, inspecting returned items, and maintaining an organized and well-documented inventory system.
  3. Liaising with brides to arrange fitting schedules, tracking important event dates, and ensuring timely gown preparation and delivery for weddings or photoshoots.
  4. Providing a seamless, memorable experience for brides — from first consultation to gown return — while ensuring personalized service and prompt issue resolution.
  5. Introducing clients to value-added options such as premium gowns, accessories, or photoshoot packages, to enhance their rental experience and increase revenue.
  6. Tracking client records, appointments, payments, and gown usage; coordinating with dry cleaners, alteration specialists, and suppliers to ensure service reliability.

Technical skills and competencies required include:

  1. Proficiency in scheduling tools and applying SOPs to manage boutique appointments and daily operations efficiently.
  2. Using inventory software and gown tagging systems to track gown availability, cleaning schedules, and condition reporting.
  3. Utilizing customer relationship management (CRM) tools and planning sheets to manage fitting schedules, event timelines, and gown readiness before client weddings.
  4. Applying customer service systems and communication skills to personalize each client's journey from fitting to return.
  5. Using digital catalogues and retail selling techniques to recommend value-added packages and increase customer spend.
  6. Preparing gown rental reports and coordinating with cleaning and alteration vendors using Microsoft Excel, email, and messaging tools.
