Facilities Operations Specialist

A seasoned facilities professional with experience in managing and overseeing daily maintenance operations of various systems is required to join our team.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of our building facilities, meeting standards of safety, functionality and sustainability. Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing daily facilities maintenance operations to ensure optimal performance and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Conducting regular inspections to identify and address any maintenance issues promptly.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues or malfunctions, coordinating timely resolution with internal teams and external contractors.
- Analysing data from building management systems to identify opportunities for improved efficiency and cost savings.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to plan and execute facility upgrades, renovations and new construction projects.
- Ensuring facilities operate in compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations.
Key Qualifications:
- Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering / Facilities Management / M&E Engineering or relevant field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar facilities role, preferably in engineering or FM industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical maintenance and BMS systems.
- At least 2 years of experience in managing air-conditioning systems.
- Involved with Singapore Certified Energy Manager (SCEM matters) and liaisons with authorities.
- Certification in Green Mark Accredited Professional (GMAP)/ GMAP(FM) and/or Singapore Certified Energy Manager (SCEM).
- Good problem-solving, communication skills to collaborate with FM teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve objectives.
