Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Operations Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about ensuring smooth operations and providing excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage facility systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Handle incident and monitoring tickets via the ticketing system in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Respond to and report incidents during shift operations, maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times.
  • Collaborate closely with the SGFM lead for operational and incident-related matters, providing regular updates and insights.
  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary corrective actions.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in facilities management, preferably in a data center or commercial building environment.
  • A solid understanding of mechanical and electrical system topologies, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
  • The willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts (day and night) as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC) environment, including handling of ticketing systems, monitoring, and incident management.
  • The ability to report to the SGFM Lead and support 24/7 operations, including incident response, with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility.
  • The capacity to perform additional operational duties and ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the manager or team lead, with a positive attitude and a commitment to excellence.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
