Job Title: Cargo Executive - Space Management Specialist

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for formulating strategic plans to maximize network revenue through dynamic space management. This will involve overseeing the revenue management team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, determining and supervising processes to monitor and measure space wastage, and monitoring post-flight statistics to ensure optimized planning and loading.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize cargo space utilization and maximize revenue.
  • Collaborate with the revenue management team to ensure seamless day-to-day operations and identify areas for improvement.
  • Design and implement processes to monitor and measure space wastage, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Analyze post-flight statistics to identify trends and areas for optimization, and provide insights to inform planning and loading decisions.
  • Identify and highlight sub-optimal flights and ULDs to HQ Ops and Stations Ops for monitoring and improvement.
  • Develop and maintain operational manuals and training programs to ensure effective knowledge transfer and process adherence.
  • Support the Head Cargo Space Management in leading the 24x7 operational team and ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Review and recommend IT solutions to enhance quality control processes and improve efficiency.
  • Provide input on tools and applications that can support cargo space management revenue management for better efficiency.
  • Participate in assigned projects and contribute to the development of the cargo space management function.

Requirements:

  • A good degree in any discipline.
  • Knowledge of the airfreight industry is preferred.
  • Experience in sales and marketing or operations in an airfreight company is a plus, but not essential.
  • Ability to learn quickly and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Good people management skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
