Learning and Development Expert

The Senior Learning & Development Partner is responsible for designing, delivering, and facilitating high-impact learning programs that enhance employee skills and drive organizational performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in adult education, instructional design, and facilitation.

About the Role:
  • This is a senior-level position within our organization's human resources team.
  • We are seeking an experienced professional with a proven track record of developing and implementing effective training programs.
Main Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities of this role include leading the delivery and facilitation of learning and development programs, utilizing various instructional techniques and formats to engage learners and enhance knowledge retention, ensuring training sessions are interactive and practical, aligned with adult learning principles, collaborating with subject matter experts to design and develop comprehensive training curricula, customizing training materials to meet the specific needs of different departments and teams, continuously updating and improving training content based on feedback and emerging trends.

Evaluation and Feedback:
  • Implement evaluation methods to measure the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from participants to improve future training sessions.
  • Report on training outcomes and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Beyond Training Needs Assessment:
  • Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and development opportunities.
  • Work with managers and employees to determine learning objectives and desired outcomes.
  • Develop training plans that address identified needs and support career development.
Leadership Development:
  • Facilitate leadership development programs aimed at enhancing the skills of current and future leaders in collaboration with Suntory University and across group companies.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers to help them develop their teams effectively.
  • Build leadership capability in change management and agile transformation within the People, Culture and Communications community.
  • Leverage learning management systems (LMS) and other technologies to deliver and track training programs.
  • Explore and implement innovative e-learning solutions to enhance the learning experience.
Key Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated expertise in adult education and training program development.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively with various stakeholders including HR, department heads, and subject matter experts.
