Job Title: Community Engagement Director

The Community Engagement Director will lead the development and maintenance of strategic partnerships with community agencies and partners that support our mission and interests.

  • This includes coordinating the pool of resources and activities from the community that supports our organization and its initiatives to reintegrate residents.
  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for supporting the effective overall administration and sound fiscal management of donations/funds restricted to our organization.
  • Maintaining the Volunteer Management System (VMS) to ensure efficient and accurate management of volunteer data is also a key responsibility.
  • Additionally, producing reports and analytics on volunteer-related outputs is an essential function of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

The Community Engagement Director will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining partnerships with community agencies and partners that support the mission and interests of our organization.

Qualifications and Skills:

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:

  • A minimum diploma in a related field of study.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and social media/digital marketing tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in volunteer/community management.
  • Good leadership skills are necessary for directing volunteers, partners, and overseeing projects.
  • Flexibility to work on weekends when required.
