Director, Change Communications and Engagement

This role works within the Product Enablement Hive to drive communication and engagement requirements across the hive. Reporting to the Change Management Lead, the ideal candidate shall design, manage, and support team communications for the following:

  • Credit Transformation Accelerator Programme
  • Sustainable Finance

Responsibilities
  • Draft and deliver quality, fit-for-purpose messages to drive awareness and knowledge transfer through various channels and media.
  • Enable the right users and functions to understand upcoming changes and capture feedback; reinforce user knowledge.
  • Develop creative content and materials (collaterals, one-pagers, infographics, videos, interviews, and other marketing communications) to enhance user awareness and engagement within the CIB Coverage segments.
  • Define and own a Communications & Engagement Approach and Plan to embed large-scale operating model changes, collaborating with Change Managers, Product Owners, Programme Directors, and Process Owners.
  • Create and manage Credit communications channels and distribution lists to ensure targeted and effective communication.
  • Support communication delivery, including leadership updates, change releases, refreshers, video creation, infographic/layout design, and metrics analysis/reporting.
  • Ensure stakeholder engagement through success stories and feedback editorials across multiple communication methods.
  • Coordinate cross-functional messaging with different teams and stakeholders.
  • Manage internal SharePoint sites to keep content updated, relevant, and organized.
  • Work with Change Managers, Product Owners, and Programme Managers to gather requirements, secure buy-in, deliver quality communications, and support change adoption and embedding.
  • Define measurable adoption targets and develop detailed communication plans outlining steps, timelines, and responsibilities.
  • Design and implement communication programs to inform and prepare employees for new processes, monitoring progress and feedback for continuous improvement.
Our Ideal Candidate
Skills & Experience
  • 8 years of experience in Communications and Engagement, supporting large-scale Change / Transformation programs, preferably in banking.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong project management and analytical skills.
  • Experience in Change Management is a plus.
Knowledge / Skills / Experience Required:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong copywriting skills to craft engaging stakeholder messages.
  • Proficiency in graphic design/layout and media creation tools (e.g., Canva, MS Office, video editing).
  • Creative mindset to produce impactful content across channels.
  • Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and comprehension skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build positive relationships.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Proactive, independent, resourceful team player.
  • Experience working with change managers on awareness and adoption initiatives.
  • Knowledge of CIB business segments, client types, and product offerings is advantageous.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
