Singapore AAR ENGINEERING SERVICES - ASIA Full time

We are looking for a talented Bid Development Specialist who can help us drive business growth through effective bid development strategies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end proposal/bids/tenders process, from opportunity identification to submission.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aerospace engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in bid development, business development, or technical services. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective bid development strategies to drive business growth.
  • Lead and manage the end-to-end proposal/bids/tenders process, from opportunity identification to submission.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful bid execution.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers in the airline industry.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to identify new business opportunities.

Requirements:

  • BS Degree (Aerospace Engineering or other disciplines of Engineering) with at least 8-10 years' experience in bid development, Business development or Technical Services in the Aerospace industry.
  • Candidates must have solid working experience in product and solution sales, Technical or engineering services, project management or MRO management related to Aircraft cabin products.
  • Possess business skills (including pricing, contract management, personal selling, etc.) and ability to multi-task.
  • Possess good verbal and written communications skills and able to present concepts/proposals to customers effectively. Fluency in at least one other Asian language is an added advantage.
  • Able to function comfortably in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
  • Proficiency in using Excel in developing pricing and financial proposals.
  • Possess good interpersonal skills and able to build rapport with customers.
  • Possess wide supplier network especially those related to Aircraft Cabin products (e.g. seating, IFE, soft furnishings, galleys and monuments, design organizations and MRO, etc.).
  • Travel to APAC, MENA region is required.
