Proposal Specialist

Job Overview:

  • Manage all technical and commercial components for multi-disciplinary services bids.
  • Preparation of internal governance, production of winning proposals and presentations to drive business growth.
  • Coordinates and manages proposal technical components, internal governance, pricing and presentations.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills and the ability to recognise, process, and present information.
  • Fully understands the requirements of the RFP, coordinates with technical leads for required technical and commercial inputs.
  • Coordinates with other End Markets and Regions to ensure that the RFP scope is addressed adequately and all costs are accurately considered.
  • Obtains quotes from sub-consultants as required and negotiates appropriate terms and conditions based on risk committee requirements.
  • Preparation of compelling proposals with win themes based on a complete understanding of client needs.
  • Understands the competition and market trends and works closely with the Work Winning Team / Bid Studio on strategic pursuits.
  • Verifies that all legal qualifications and directives have been included in the final bid document before submission to the client.

Requirements:

  • Diploma with a minimum of 4 years working experience in Bids & Proposals
  • Possess a flair for communication, both written and verbal
  • Proficient level of English both oral and written
  • Highly organised, meticulous, with an eye for detail
  • Comprehensive range of administrative skills and client support services
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. A proactive and effective communicator who can relate well to people at all levels
  • Ability to build constructive and effective relationships using diplomacy and tact
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint computer skills
  • Familiar with e-Procurement systems
  • Positive thinker with a can do attitude and a willingness to learn
